Chalet Hibou

Les Belleville, France

Nestled in a quiet village in the Tarentaise Valley, this chalet celebrates craftsmanship and authenticity, reflecting the traditions and materials of the region.  Reclaimed wood, rich with patina, gives the newly built structure a sense of history. Inspired by Savoyard architecture, Chalet Hibou blends classic techniques with thoughtful details—terracotta floors and handmade tiles in the kitchen, local blue marble in the bathrooms, and antique furnishings throughout. As a result, Hibou feels like it has graciously evolved over generations. Timeless French fabrics, vintage wallpapers, and a deep Os de Mouton sofa add character, making Chalet Hibou a retreat of alpine charm and modern comfort.
